Modern Material is a family company, founded in 1975 by Michael E. Horn. Although retired now, Mr. Horn still works for the company as a consultant. Call him sometime to hear his amazing story and be prepared to discuss motorcycles!

Today the company is owned and operated by "generation two." Modern Materials is proud to offer expertise in nearly every organic finish and has recently added vibratory finishing and cast iron seasoning to its list of services. The company maintains capacity for pieces varying in size from very small (less than 1 lb) to very large (up to 10'x10'x10" and up to 3000 lbs.) And, Modern can handle orders ranging in volume from very low (less than 10 pieces) to very high (6 and seven digit EAUs.)
